We are strengthening our creative community by encouraging, teaching and shining a touch of light on our neighbors' art. Our start-up non-profit Arts Organization sparks conversation. All the while, getting to know each other in a deeper and more profound manner. We are finding that we have more in common than differences. The handmade arts and crafts we create, ie: bowls, food, dolls, quilts, plants, ceramics, paintings, drawings, fine art photography, frames, functional pieces and various woodworking pieces...it's all ART.
The ART sparks conversation in all of us. Let's continue to have an open dialogue and express ourselves. We will soon be a 501.3.c non-profit. We are currently recognized as an Arts Organization by the state of California and we have a Charitable Trust Number! Next two steps are getting tax-exempt status from both the Federal and state levels...stay tuned, big plans up ahead!

Oh my goodness, the year of 2023 has been fantastic for the Clyde Artist Network! We are so close to becoming a 501.3.c non-profit Arts Organization. We are currently a Charitable Trust and just awaiting our tax exempt status from the Federal Government and then one more blessing from the state of California for state tax exemption and THEN...it'll be official. Wowza!
We held our first Earth Day Celebration, our first community BBQ, an Ice Cream Social and we just completed our 3rd Annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Festival at Clyde Park in Clyde, CA!!! A big year for us!
We now have merchandise: silk-screened reusable shopping bags ($10) and CAN T-shirts ($20)!
Special shout out to those in Clyde that have supported us from the beginning....our spouses, partners, friends, family, and community leaders. Additionally, the support of organizations and businesses like: Legends, Clyde Community Improvement Association and Clyde Community Club, without ya'll...we would not be spreading our wings wider...casting a larger net...and for those who create, those that inspire the creators...we thank you and appreciate you.
During Covid's Great Shelter in Place...Photographer Jason Steinberg (Steinberg Imagery) got a bit stir crazy...he was experimenting with woodworking (making yard furniture and frames for his photography). But he wasn't able to share his works face-to-face with anybody...until he founded an Arts & Crafts Festival in the parking lot of the Clyde Community Center in 2021. Since then, various neighbors have stepped in to strengthen our foundation. Our aspirations are HUGE...stay tuned!

CAN is striving to become a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization with HUGE community ideas to enhance the living experience in the "Weirdest Little Town in CoCo County," also known as Clyde, CA. For now, we are growing the Holiday Arts & Crafts Festival to capacity in Clyde Park with the idea of having it spill down Rail Trail Park...and then...the real fun begins!
