A special shoutout goes to the amazing community of Clyde who have supported us from the very beginning—our spouses, partners, friends, family, community leaders, and all the wonderful people we've met along the way. We also extend our deepest gratitude to the organizations and businesses that have been with us every step of the way and to new ones joining the celebration of creativity:
Ashby Lumber, Bill's Ace Hardware, Steinberg Imagery, Lowe's, Legends, the Clyde Community Improvement Association, and the Clyde Community Club.
Without your support, we wouldn’t be spreading our wings and casting a wider net.
To the creators and those who inspire them, we thank and appreciate you. Here's to more creativity and deeper connections in the coming year!

At the Clyde Artist Network (CAN), we wholeheartedly embrace the wisdom shared by Austin Kleon in Steal Like an Artist:
"It's so important to have a hobby. A hobby is something creative that's just for you. You don't try to make money or get famous off it, you just do it because it makes you happy. A hobby is something that gives but doesn't take."
CAN provides a platform for people to share their hobbies, passions, and creative works, supporting and celebrating their efforts. Through this, we believe we are strengthening our creative arts and crafts community by encouraging, teaching, and spotlighting our neighbors' artistry. Our 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization is dedicated to sparking conversations and fostering deeper connections within our community. By sharing our creative expressions, we discover common ground and bridge differences through the universal language of art.
Whether it's bowls, quilts, plants, ceramics, paintings, fine art photography, woodworking, or any other handmade crafts—it's all art, and it all sparks dialogue. Our mission extends beyond creating objects; it’s about building relationships, understanding one another, and celebrating our collective creativity.
Let’s keep this open dialogue alive, express ourselves, and grow together. Big plans are ahead—stay tuned!

The Origin of the Clyde Artist Network
During the Great Shelter in Place amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Jason Steinberg, a photographer from Steinberg Imagery, found himself restless and eager to channel his creativity in new ways. With limited opportunities for face-to-face interactions, Jason turned to woodworking, crafting yard furniture and frames for his photography to keep his artistic spirit alive.
In 2021, recognizing the need to share his creations and foster community connections, Jason organized an Arts & Crafts Festival (with generous help from neighbors and local organizations) in the parking lot of the Clyde Community Center. This inaugural event marked the beginning of the Clyde Artist Network, a 501(c)(3) arts organization dedicated to strengthening the creative community.
Since then, the network has grown with the enthusiastic support of neighbors, who have joined forces to expand its reach and impact. Our aspirations for the future are immense, and we invite you to stay tuned as we continue to cultivate and celebrate local artistry.
